Pittsburgh Summer Youth Employment Program

Posted by John on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 12:00 PM

Find out if your friends, family, and students are eligible for high quality summer employment. This six-week program provides eligible youths aged 14–21 with wage and skill-building work in a wide variety of fields.

The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC) is seeking for-profit and non-profit organizations who would have an interest in hosting a summer worker at the BGC’s expense. Download informational materials on how to express that interest. It can be as simple as sending an email.

To help promote the event, download a printable PDF flyer.

Also, find out how leaders across Pittsburgh are working to reduce violence and increase meaningful opportunities for young people. Attend an upcoming United Way hosted Youth Futures Commission meeting. Download more information.
