Thank You BDC Volunteers and Bloomfield Landscaping

Posted by Terry Ford Aiello on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 9:00 AM

On the morning of July 10, twenty-eight Bloomfield Development Corporation volunteers picked up litter, cigarette butts and other trash along Liberty Avenue’s Main Street. Along with Bloomfield Landscaping volunteers, they also planted greenery and cleaned and weeded the tree beds. We realize that there are a lot of other things these volunteers could be doing on a beautiful Saturday morning, but we couldn’t do these cleanups without your help.

The volunteers and the BDC want to thank Grasso Roberto for donating coffee, and Angelo’s Pizzeria for donating pizza and soft drinks for lunch.

We are planning the next Clean Sweep to prepare for Little Italy Days. Until then, everyone can do their part by disposing of their litter and cigarettes responsibly. For more information on volunteering for BDC cleanups or Little Italy Days, contact Terry Aiello by email or 412.687.9346.
