  1. It’s a travesty what is being done to West Penn Hospital. I first can to West Penn in 1989 and felt this would be my last stop before I would retire. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. West Penn from that point on became my new found family. I’m still there today and won’t leave until I’m force out. Even though the last week has been trying and disturbing to the employees and Bloomfield community, they are sticking together and supporting one another like a family does.

Hospital officials have tough skin and can handle the comments and tongue lashing we throw at them concerning the hospital’s viability, but if we come together and dig deep and go behind the scenes and investigate who’s who and what is really going on and present it to them it just might rattle some chains.

Alot of blame has been put on officials of the past to cover up the deceit and wrong doings of the present officials. I suggest to everyone don’t be fooled by the smoke screens placed before us, utilize all your resources and come together and make a stand. Uncover the truth to the maddness. Don’t fall victim of their poor excuses about geographical demographics and health care reform. This has been in the making for quite some time now. The Bloomfield community and the employees of West Penn built this hospital. We can not allow heartless tailored suits and six figure salaries to take it away. We need to utilize the government at all levels to stop this. Don’t let them frighten you or break you spirit.

Whenever God closes one door, he opens another. This is our opportunity to expose the wrong doers, and claim what is rightfully ours, our Hospital!!!
