Build a Memorial Garden for Fallen Police Officers

Posted by Karla Owens on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 9:47 AM

I would like to ask your help to raise funds for the Memorial Statue for the three fallen police officers that is  being planned for the front of St. Joseph Church. I have applied for a grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project. This is a Pepsi grant program that anyone can log into to vote for ideas. Our submission was accepted on May 1 and we have all this month to vote. Funding is awarded by popular vote. Ten ideas in each funding  category are approved every month. Here’s what to do:

  1. Go to http://pep.si/9Tt7DF
  2. Sign up and vote for the idea — it only takes  a minute.
  3. Spread the word through your Facebook, Twitter and e-mail contacts. There’s a link to share. Anyone over 13 can sign up and vote; so get kids, schools, etc. involved.

Please get this out to as many people as possible. We need everyone’s help to make this project happen.

Let me know if you have any questions.
