Hollywood Comes to Bloomfield

I kid. But not really, because I’m totally awesome.
I was asked to guest-post here on the wonderful Shopping Bloomfield about shoes.
Men’s shoes.
I don’t know a single thing about men’s shoes except that I imagine they run a smidge larger than women’s shoes and I bet it’s impossible to find a decent heel in a wide width. But I do know a little something about a certain someone who recently purchased some shoes at Bloomfield’s own Best-Made Shoes.
Aussie Alex O’Loughlin filmed the CBS pilot Three Rivers in Pittsburgh during April 2009, and during that time he visited Best-Made Shoes and purchased the Birkenstock Tatami Alton which he can be seen wearing in the pilot episode.
You may remember Alex O’Loughlin from his days as a kinda dirty (but really really hot) cop on The Shield. Or maybe you remember him from his days as a super major hot vampire on the now-defunct Moonlight on CBS.
If you never saw Moonlight, I got three words for you: Robert Pattinson who?

You don’t know how long it took me to freeze frame that at the right exact second to show you that. Like 23 minutes. Now you know.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll be visiting Best-Made shoes to see if I can find out some more information.
Did Alex stand here? What about here? Did he gaze gorgeously out of this window? This window? Did he pee in here? Did he touch this? DID HE LICK ANYTHING IN THE STORE?!
Uh. Anyways. Best-Made Shoes.

Hey Pittgirl! sorry you had to spend sooo much time lookin’ at that footage “sorry for the pun” for Alex’s shoes. (yeah right) I have a great pic of them if you would like it. He does have pretty feet too and they are HUGE! :)

Hey Pittgirl!! We Alex O-lovers totally get where you are coming from!! He is the hottest thing on the planet..and oh so talented!! Thanks so much for keeping tabs on our man and letting us in on the most important stuff..like where he shops!! Now, can you find out his shoe size too?? Enquiring minds would LOVE to know..;)
Oh, yeah, we need to know shoe SIZE. Thanks for letting us know about this shopping trip; it’s just the kind of thing we Alex lovers obsess over and discuss at length.
I’ll bet I know what he licked in the store. The AIR. The man constantly sticks his totally gorgeous tongue out and licks his adorable lips. We’ve got the screencaps to prove it! We spend far too many hours of our days researching this kind of thing. And screencapping the evidence.
You ARE totally awesome, Pittgirl; now keep your sisters posted on that shoe size question and which air molecules he licked.
Thanks Pittgirl… great job keeping up with various Alex sightings!! I wanna know how he smelled!! (did I just type that?) The shoe size is a very important question indeed!! We can’t wait until Three Rivers… (is it October yet?) Nope… looks at the thermometer and it’s summer in the Bluegrass. Alex makes the air seem even hotter. sigh.. post more Alex O details!!

Thanks for the delightful info and pictures! On Moonlight it was once said that Mick wore size 10 & a half shoes – so I thought maybe they took that bit of info from real life – like his favorite color being blue? I know you ML lovers remember that scene…;)
Anyway, adore Alex and love those shoes. Now I want a pair like them. Alex has the best taste in clothes of any man I have ever seen – rock on, sexy Alex!
