Restaurant Review Podcast

Posted by John on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 12:05 PM

The Bloomfield Business Association is producing an online video show to promote dining in the neighborhood, and we are seeking a foodie to host the show. Each episode will focus on a different restaurant, highlighting key dishes and specials plus interesting facts about the establishment and neighborhood. The format of the show will be developed with the host’s input, but a similar format would be Food Network’s $40 a Day, edited down to 5–10 minutes per restaurant.

We are looking for hosts of either gender, 21+ as alcohol may be reviewed. The host should be an aficionado of food and drink, and have the ability to verbally describe different culinary experiences in an interesting way. The position pays $250 per episode for two episodes per month. We are planning on doing a full year of episodes, filmed throughout the year to take advantage of seasonal opportunities. Each shoot should take no more than three hours to shoot, plus voiceover work to be recorded in our local studio. Hosts will be required to handle their own makeup, hair and wardrobe, but a producer will be at each shoot to help.

If interested, please submit a headshot and resume to design@bloomfieldnow.com.
