Locally Grown Politics
You know you should eat your locally-grown fruits and vegetables, but did you also know you could have a say in local politics? Did you know you can do both at the Bloomfield Farmers’ Market?
The Citiparks Farmers’ Market is held every Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30 PM in the Immaculate Conception parking lot, and every third Thursday of the month, Councilman Patrick Dowd will hold his “Council to Go” at the market. Council to Go is an outreach program that Dowd began in order to make himself available to his constituents in locations throughout his district. Once a month, at a rotation of locations in five neighborhoods, Dowd will be available to provide you with information, answer your questions and listen to your concerns.

During inclement weather (and after the Farmers’ Market closes in November), Council to Go will be held at the Crazy Mocha at 4525 Liberty Ave. The full Council to Go schedule and more information can be found on the District 7 website.
